Program Description We can reinforce your safety protocols or help you develop
personal safety “armor” that goes with you everywhere. We work with adults or
teens, in the workplace or in your private life; and can address office safety,
family safety, children's safety, gender violence, and relationship or domestic abuse.
You will learn basic self-defense principles, how to prevent an assault,
how to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations, verbal skills for stopping
or preventing all levels of abuse, and physical defense and escape options.
The specific content of each workshop is tailored to your group’s unique needs
and desires. DCSDKA’s staff will work with the sponsoring organization to
determine the desired goals and structure a program to meet those goals.

"Thank you for the training you presented to the Family
Service Specialists and the Home Visitors on yesterday. The response to the knowledge and skills you were able to
share with them has been positive. Many of the staff came to me on yesterday
after the training and shared how much they appreciated your instruction. I hope that we will be able to work with your organization
again in the near future." Shelly
