Group and Corporate Workshops

Are you looking for professionally trained self-defense instructors for your corporation, school, church, or club?

DCSDKA, led by Sensei Carol Middleton has been a leader in self-defense training since 1976.  We offer standard self defense programs as well as personal safety training tailored to your group and your specific needs.

Sometimes a parent group wants effective self-defense for their children, or a school wants their teens to be safer as they are more independent, or a company or group wants to provide practical skills to their members or employees. Whatever the need, we can adapt our knowledge and expertise.

Program Description We can reinforce your safety protocols or help you develop personal safety “armor” that goes with you everywhere. We work with adults or teens, in the workplace or in your private life; and can address office safety, family safety, children's safety, gender violence, and relationship or domestic abuse.

You will learn basic self-defense principles, how to prevent an assault, how to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations, verbal skills for stopping or preventing all levels of abuse, and physical defense and escape options.

The specific content of each workshop is tailored to your group’s unique needs and desires. DCSDKA’s staff will work with the sponsoring organization to determine the desired goals and structure a program to meet those goals.

"Thank you for the training you presented to the Family Service Specialists and the Home Visitors on yesterday.  The response to the knowledge and skills you were able to share with them has been positive.  Many of the staff came to me on yesterday after the training and shared how much they appreciated your instruction. I hope that we will be able to work with your organization again in the near future." Shelly

Program Fees depend on number of participants, instructors required, program length, space and equipment requirements, and other factors.
