"When I heard of the DCSDKA, I was on two soccer teams, playing after work on cutup fields with no time to warm up. I knew I was on my way to knee surgery if I continued. How lucky I was to discover Karate, and even luckier to find a school that nurtured my health while challenging me fitness-wise. That's what I knew going into it. But now that I've been with the school for three years, there are other benefits I couldn't have dreamed of ... the true confidence to defend myself if need be, the camaraderie of the terrific and diverse pool of students and teachers, the inspiration to be positive and centered and balanced not just at the dojo, but in life. My husband and I are both in the school now and I love being able to share it with him. I've witnessed classes at other schools in the area and believe me, they don't come close to the care and thoroughness of the DCSDKA. It's top-notch." -- Amy
